Is Pakistan Ready for a Food Rescue App? The Data Says Yes.

The obvious version of this question is whether Pakistani consumers will use a food app. The data on that is settled Pakistan has over 190 million mobile users, smartphone penetration is growing by double digits annually, and food delivery app usage accelerated dramatically after 2020 and has not reversed.

The more interesting question is whether Pakistani consumers will use a food rescue app specifically. And there, the data is more nuanced but it still says yes.

The behaviour is already there

Pakistani consumers are deeply price-sensitive without being quality-insensitive. The popularity of deals, bundles, Happy Hour pricing and off-peak discounts across Islamabad's food scene demonstrates that customers will absolutely change their behaviour for a meaningful price difference as long as the quality holds.
