1. Who We Are

SastaKhana is a food deals marketplace operated by SastaKhana, based in Islamabad, Pakistan. We connect customers with restaurants, bakeries and cafes offering Fresh Deals and Surplus Deals at discounted prices. Our contact address is support@sastakhana.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information when you use SastaKhana:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and phone number when you register.
• Location data: Your approximate location to show you nearby deals. We only use location when you permit it.
• Transaction data: Records of deals you reserve, including vendor, price, and pickup time.
• Device information: Device type, operating system, and app version for performance and support purposes.
• Waitlist data: Your email address if you join our pre-launch waitlist.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Show you relevant food deals near your location
• Process and confirm your reservations
• Send you notifications about your active reservations
• Notify you when SastaKhana launches or when new partners join near you
• Improve the app experience based on usage patterns
• Respond to your support requests

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes unrelated to SastaKhana.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share limited information with vendor partners only as necessary to fulfil your reservation (for example, your name and QR code reference for pickup confirmation). We share anonymised, aggregated data with vendors about deal performance but never personal identifying information.

5. Blog Comments, Photos and Email

When you comment on a blog post we publish your name and comment. Anything you write or upload in a comment is public, so please do not include personal details you want to keep private.

• Photos (optional): JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 2 MB. We resize each photo and remove hidden data such as GPS location before it is shown. Photos are public once posted. We can remove a photo or comment at any time, and you can ask us to remove yours by emailing support@sastakhana.com.
• Email address (optional): If you give an email, it is stored privately and never shown on the site. We use it only for the options you tick below.
• Reply notification (optional): If you tick "Email me if the SastaKhana team replies", we send you one email when the team replies to that comment. Every email has a link to stop them and delete your address.
• News and offers (optional): This is a separate box that is never ticked for you. If you tick it, we may send you occasional news and offers from SastaKhana. We record that you agreed, and when. You can unsubscribe any time using the link in our emails or by emailing support@sastakhana.com. Commenting does not require you to tick it.

6. Payments

The website does not take payments. Payments inside the SastaKhana app are processed by Safepay, a payment gateway licensed by the State Bank of Pakistan. Safepay handles your payment details under its own privacy terms. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the order details, not your full card number.

7. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support@sastakhana.com.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You may withdraw consent for location access at any time through your device settings. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@sastakhana.com.

9. Cookies

Our website uses minimal cookies for session management and analytics. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some website functionality may be affected.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as SastaKhana develops. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
