1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SastaKhana website and mobile application (together, the "Platform"), operated by SastaKhana (Pvt) Ltd, a company registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (Registration No. 0331420, NTN I781494). By creating an account, browsing deals, or completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. What SastaKhana Does

SastaKhana is a marketplace that connects you with restaurants, bakeries, and cafés in Islamabad offering their surplus and fresh food at a discount. We are an intermediary: we list deals published by our partner businesses and process your order. All deals are pickup only. SastaKhana does not prepare, handle, deliver, or transport any food, and we do not operate a delivery service of any kind.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Platform. By using SastaKhana, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep your account details up to date.

4. Placing an Order

• Each deal shows the item, the discounted price, and the pickup window set by the business.
• When you complete a purchase, you are buying a voucher for that specific deal, redeemable only during the stated pickup window at the stated location.
• Payment is made in advance through the app using a licensed payment gateway partner regulated by the State Bank of Pakistan. SastaKhana does not store your card details.
• After payment, you receive a QR code or order confirmation. You must present it at the business to collect your order.

5. Pickup and Collection

It is your responsibility to arrive within the pickup window shown on your order. If you miss the window, the business is not obligated to hold your order, and you may not be eligible for a refund (see our Refund Policy). Exact contents of surplus deals may vary depending on what the business has available at the end of the day.

6. Pricing and Payments

Prices are set by the partner businesses and displayed inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. SastaKhana earns a commission from participating businesses on completed orders; you are not charged any separate service or delivery fee by SastaKhana for using the Platform. All payments are processed securely in the app.

7. Food Safety and Responsibility

The partner business is solely responsible for the preparation, quality, safety, hygiene, and accurate description of the food it offers. SastaKhana does not inspect, prepare, or guarantee any food item. If you have allergies or dietary requirements, please confirm directly with the business before collecting your order. Any concern about food quality or safety should be raised with the business and, where appropriate, reported to us at support@sastakhana.com.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short, because deals involve perishable food prepared or set aside for you, refunds are limited to specific circumstances described in that policy.

9. Your Conduct

You agree not to misuse the Platform, including by providing false information, attempting to defraud a business, reselling vouchers, interfering with the Platform's operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms.

10. Partner Businesses

Businesses that list on SastaKhana do so under a separate partner agreement. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship between you and SastaKhana or between you and any partner business beyond the sale of the specific deal you purchase.

11. Intellectual Property

SastaKhana, its logo, and its branding are trademarks of SastaKhana (Pvt) Ltd. The content, design, and software of the Platform are owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied, modified, or reused without our written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SastaKhana is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the food itself, the conduct of a partner business, missed pickup windows, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Pakistani law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Islamabad.
