SastaKhana has two kinds of deals. Here is who can sell what, in simple words.
Fresh deals
Food made fresh, at a price you set, for a pickup time you choose. Examples: a lunch box, a cake, a tray of biryani, a dessert. All sellers can list fresh deals: restaurants, bakeries, cafes and home chefs.
Surplus deals
Food that was made fresh the same day and did not sell, for example near closing time. A bakery has extra bread. A restaurant has extra portions. They sell it at a lower price instead of throwing it away.
Surplus deals are for restaurants, bakeries and cafes.
What home chefs can sell
Home chefs sell freshly made food only. We do not allow home chefs to sell surplus food. This keeps home kitchens safe and buyers happy.
Why this rule?
- Home kitchens are small. Fresh-made food is easier to keep safe.
- Buyers should know that home food was made for them.
- It builds trust, which is the most important thing for a new home chef.
The same for everyone
- You set your own price.
- You choose the pickup time. Pickup only on our website for now. Delivery through SastaKhana is not available. You and your customer may arrange delivery yourselves.
- 0% commission for your first 30 days. After that, the standard rate is 17%, and home chefs pay 10%. See the Partner Terms.
How to join
- Open List My Business on our website and fill the short form. Or email partner@sastakhana.com.
- Our Islamabad team contacts you.
- Home chefs: we ask for an ID and photos of your kitchen and food, plus a short video. This is private.
- You list your food, set your price and choose a pickup time.
